It sucks as a hockey fan to lose him obv, but from a community standpoint, the guy represented st. Louis. He owned a handful of local bars that he hung out at to talk to average Joe's nightly, he walked up to anyone and everyone to strike a conversation, and he was just genuinely an incredible man.

Seriously, everyone in st. Louis whos been here a few years or more has met and conversed with Bobby plager. Thats what will be missed the most.

The only positive I can see coming from plagers death is it brings the players together and galvanizes them.

But that's up to them.

Too bad the blues can't get their shit together and play decent hockey for him. God damn we suck.


So weird, pre covid the blues were the defending champs and no. 1 team in the west in pts and pts percentage, outworking teams on a nightly basis and defending better than anyone in the league.

Post covid, they lost all 3 games in the bubble before getting beat by a mediocre nucks team and now we're struggling to separate from a sub par coyotes and kings team, being outworked on a nightly basis.


I dont know what happened, but that break killed this team

No thanks unless its a 2nd rd pick or less (its not)

Id actually prefer the blues to move hoffman for a 2nd, pick up a reliable backup goalie for a mid round pick because husso is horrendous, and maybe pick up a depth option at RHD

Until we switch from man defense to zone, we have zero chance defending against the avs. They skate around the zone and set picks until we tire out and it ends in a goal against or penalty.

Why are we so unwilling to try to defend differently.
