Mallorca lost 2-0 against Osasuna.

Not really surprising as Osasuna are the best team in Segunda when playing at home (29 out of 33 points), but the game, while arguably not ending with a completely undeserved result, could have gone either way tbh. The main problem was the usual problem when playing away against Osasuna: you're up against butchers, and the ref isn't going to do much about it. When they play away it's not that bad, but in their stadium they always get away with pretty much everything, and this has been like that for decades... the eternal butchers of spanish football.

In other news, we've signed two Balkan forwards to try to net some goals... Croatian Budimir (experience in Serie A and B, with inconsistent scoring records), and Serbian Stojiljkovic (did ok for Braga, but then went kind of downhill in Turkey and Crvena Zvezda). Hope they adapt and perform, as we could really use some goals. We mostly rely on our wingers to score.

Apparently an airplane went missing and Cardiff city's new signing was on it. Not looking good.

Mallorca drew 1-1 away against Cádiz today.

Getting a draw in Cádiz is pretty decent, but apparently this result leaves a bittersweet taste. And I'm saying apparently because I couldn't watch the game, unfortunately. According to reports we dominated them big time and missed a bunch of chances to secure the win... at the end of the game, our usually reliable keeper made a mistake that allowed Cádiz to score from a set piece and draw a game that we deserved to win. Oh well, at least I missed out on the frustration...
