Mallorca will be playing away against Badalona tomorrow.
Badalona are a team that normally plays in either the 3rd or 4th level. They did have some decent runs in Segunda during the 30s, 40 and 60s too though. Now they've settled in the mid-high table of the third level. They probably won't reach the promotion playoffs, but they're not a team you can rule out.
They suck away from home... but unfortunately, the game is played in their stadium, where they haven't lost a single game yet. In fact they are the second best home team after Mallorca. So it's not a game we can relax in... we have everything it takes to become the first team to win in Badalona, but we need to perform well and not play as passively as the last two games.
1-1
We almost lost, and we needed to wait until the last minute before injury time to get our goal. But this wasn't as bad as it sounds... we were far better than Badalona, and the ref screwed us big time by denying us 3 stone wall penalties. We almost won in the very last minute... it would have made justice.
Third draw in a row, which isn't good, but at least this time we performed properly. The worst and most horrible news of the game was that we lost our best player, Lago Jr. He partially tore his PCL and will be out for 4 months or so. We've lost both of our starting wingers in two weeks (in the previous away match our RW Giner tore his ACL and won't be playing any more this season) because of bad pitch conditions ffs. It looks like we will be making some signings during the winter window.
