Draymond constantly gets the “look at his stats this man is shit” all the time because what he does is outside the box score for the majority of it.. so amazing.. the heart, the communicator, the defensive anchor, the top tier facilitator. Yeah this playoffs people are giving him his credit because they are seeing the stats coming along with it, but he’s always been this way.
Draymond is maybe the most underrated player in the league tbh, his impact is wholly unmatched by any other player in the league in a similar role. God-tier passing, elite creation, best-in-class defense, and incredible transition offense is just so valuable, not to mention is floor impact on the others around him with his leadership especially on defense, and his insane morale effect and intensity. Frankly, I think the Warriors might have not won any championships the past 4 seasons without him. His importance cannot be understated. And his synergy with Curry makes them maybe the best duo in the league. I'd argue there have even been stretches when he was as impactful as Curry.
