5,000 yards and he’s 26 and has proven to be physically durable too. I’m surprised nobody would take a shot at him for 3 years or so.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad he’s gone, but I feel like he has the ability to put up good numbers and maybe if he weren’t behind all the time his turnovers might go down a bit.
Personally, I had him pegged to go to the Bears. I felt like maybe he could do something with a team which had defense which could keep them in games. I felt like he’s better than Mitch. That team’s offense had no balls or anything.
...homeboy had the best receiving situation a QB could ever hope for and still put up 30 INTs. How many more picks would he have thrown if he wasn't throwing to giants?
The only team that wants a volatile QB is a bad team, because then they have the chance to upset a good team if he's hot. A team like the Bears is a stable team, because defense tends to have reliable results. The bears need a solid, boring offense that can put up 17-27 points a game, every game, and not make massive mistakes. That's not Winston.
