Saying it now so I can either bask in the glory or get burned in 3 years..... Zach Wilson will be a better NFL QB than Justin Fields and honestly I'd prefer to have Wilson

Looks like I was a month ahead of all these analyst and honestly even more than a month. Been pounding the table for Wilson for awhile now with his past season, now all the mocks are flooded with Wilson > Fields

called it here first, give me Mel's job

Too keep this on topic of Jags, will never happen BUT WHAT if Hako.... Texans call, Tlaw for Watson, any interest??

I've grown used to thinking about a better future, seems like this is the life of a Vikings fan

We'll, it's either that or constantly losing in the NFCCG or just before that. The cycle of disappointment of Wisconsin sports teams isn't for the faint of heart. I'm still not sure if it's better or worse to taste greatness and then treadmill after that or to have never won a championship

Honestly, even after the Ravens won the 2012 season, I couldn't even really enjoy it. I was such a draftnik back then that all I cared about was prospects, salary cap, FAs, and the draft. I was almost more interested to see all that time and effort of scouting prospects pay off in the draft.

Although now I have no time and am completely out of the loop, so I just see who the Ravens drafted and look at their draft cutups and scouting reports afterwards lol. Or maybe I'll check out some prospects at positions of need ahead of time.

I feel that, Vikes just have this tease about them where they show signs of being great or on the way to that and then fold over and over, why I am cheering for the Bills / very similar franchise

Ya I am the same, I think I will always be looking forward to the Draft. Always said if I someday win the lottery or hit big on the stock market I'd quit my job and just do draft analytics as my job / hobby. Same where I haven't been able to do the crazy amount of research on prospects I used to normally I will just pick a few positions the vikings need and watch some of the considered top players. But always fun to watch prospects and project whether you think they will succeed or not

Nope, wouldn't do it.

Lawrence is younger, will be on a rookie contract, and has less wear and tear. He could also end up being much better than Watson.

It'd take multiple 1st rounders to get Watson and I don't see the Texans trading him within the Division anyways, but even if it was straight up #1 overall for Watson.. I still wouldn't do it, nope nope nope.
