Fucking murdered Miami last night.

Could see this new kid pitch out of the bullpen in the post-season. That'd be an interesting mix managing him, Urias, Stripling, Maeda, etc. all as relievers. I feel like someone has to be left off among these starters who function as extended relievers.

I think that ultimately the middle innings will go to Urias, with the 8th going to Kelly if he isn't outright transitioned to closer with Kenley's struggles.

Team has so much fucking talent on it it is ridiculous. Hopefully one of these rookies will light it up in the postseason. Personally I can see both Verdugo and Smith having great postseason runs. They don't seem to be rattled by the pressure of the majors and they hit for average, not just home runs, which is something they desperately need in the playoffs.

The Yankees/Dodgers series I had been looking forward to all year was a let down. Had to work during all 3 games and they wore those fucking God awful uniforms. Apparently the teams requested they be allowed to wear their actual jersies at least one game out of the three and they were denied. I hope whoever came up with this year's design got fired.

Yankees looking damned solid, though. Starters did well and that bullpen is something else. Dodgers' offense was about as cold as I've seen it and although Ryu got shelled game 1 it's cool that Gonsolin and Kershaw did well games 3 and 4. Overall it's good to get a shitty showing like that out of their system now.

Ryu got shelled again. Let's hope he rebounds for the playoffs and they can slide him in third behind Buehler and Kershaw.

Interesting watch these games lately as they are not managing them in a traditional way so it is hard to evaluate the end result. Ultimately I still believe Tony Gonsolin will be big in the post-season and feel like Urias ought to become the team's closer with Jansen slotted to either the 7th or 8th.

Easily the deepest I've seen this team since I've been watching them. The amount of talent that will not be used by sheer virtue of the fact that they can't keep them all on the roster will be crazy. Unfortunately they lost Verdugo for at least the NLDS (I think the entire year is lost from what I've been reading) and Turner is missing time down the stretch.

I don't like the potential match up with either Washington or especially St. Louis. St. Louis' pitching, the fact they have Carpenter and Goldschmidt, who both murder LA, is alarming.

Bellinger named MVP. Time to trade him for people who won't choke it up in the playoffs.

Apparently Maeda is unhappy with his role on the team. Perhaps they shop him for a team looking for a starter for a reliever who is cool coming out of the pen. Shame, because Maeda had been awfully solid coming from the bullpen.

I keep expecting a big trade to happen every day, not sure who gets moved, I've seen people saying Seager will get shipped off. I like Seager, honestly, but he hasn't been quite the same coming off the injury and he's been horrible in the playoffs as well. Curious to see what happens with Lux playing more out of the gate next year.
