we've got huge expectations. after 6 years of mediocrity, bad transfer decisions, 3 managers, shambolic performances under all 3
and we dont have 1 or 2 more season of patience. ole may not be pozer's or other fan's choice but he is conducting himself as a United manager.
Not crying because of injuries. Not crying because the board refuses to sign replacements. Not slamming players publicly.

football is a weird sport. Had we scored all the missed penalties, had the newcastle defender not make that crucial interception to prevent rashy from scoring, had maguire headed in from the corner
where would we be now? looking at the table now, 3rd or 4th easily.

No one's expecting a title, unless huge expectations is asking to finish top 4, when 2 out of for 4 spots are there for the taking, after spending nearly £1bn on transfer fees in the last 7 years or/and playing something that resembles football.

I'm done discussing anything with you, you're just blinded in your, I won't even say love, as it's true delusion.

Wouldn't solve a thing. Arsenal are third but are far from looking good or being in a positive state

Exactly. Its not the current table standing or the final result of a couple games that is the big problem.
The tactics and attack are atrocious and/or nonexistent. A penalty or missed chance going the other way doesn't fix that.

yeah outside of the opening weekend anomaly its been one or zero goals scored in every single match. you cannot sustain results at that clip, maybe over a season you can hopefully nick a handful of 1-0 results playing like that but not 7-10 matches in a row lol

the defense is significantly improved but the offense is non-existant. selling/losing more than half the offensive generators and replacing all of them only with Dan James (who is doing well to be fair) was absurdly shortsighted

even keeping Tree would have been smart if they had no plan to re-up the attack

Take away PEA's goals and Arsenal are at our position more likely than not, but that's the difference - you have a world class striker capable of winning the matches on his own, we do not.
