Oh yeah that makes sense. My shoulders aren’t usually at the same height I’be noticed despite great shoulder flexibility. Back in the day the chiro used to tell me my hips would become misaligned. Maybe that’s the cause of my lower right back pain as of recent esp during volleyball

of course, biggest issue with the side chest you have your traps flexed and shoulders rolled forward defeating the point of a "side" chest pose
retract scapula and puff chest out.. cause its definitely your strong point! show it off.
