Have you seen the awkward DL guy with a physiology designed for cheating the DL? I don't have the link on hand, but it's annoying as hell.
I agree to some extent that many of the world's strongest lifters often have crap form. I mean, it gets the lift done and that's great in terms of feats, but a lot of super heavy lifters endanger their physiology or don't really do more than leverage their tissues to produce big lifts.
There are some powerlifters who went back to raw and realized they were way less strong than they'd supposed.
What often gets lost in the quest for results is a perspective on what you were originally trying to achieve. It's like you go into the woods and try to see which rock is the heaviest rock you can pick up. Eventually, you end up using a bulldozer to lift rocks.
