What are the chances of the Bengals passing on Penei Sewell and drafting Chase?

50/50 chance imo.

Love it, I think both will be studs in their own rights. won't be bad for you guys either route you. I think you guys already have some solid WRs but Reiff is a reliable LT and Williams can be a solid RT.

I just have my doubts on Sewell. Wish he played against better competition.

not really a fan of the better competition argument, He dominated against Auburn who had the best DLine in the country two years ago and played well against a very good USC line. Zac Wilson played pretty much no talented competition and I fully believe he will be a stud


Herbert played that same "bad" competition and turns out he was a pretty good player

I'm not dogging Sewell. Rather have him over Slater. Just curious if we could get good OL help in the 2nd.

I'm leaning 75% Sewell, 25% Chase.

Of the top "three'' OTs I actually only dislike Darrisaw, I think Slater is a stud as well him and penei play with a nastiness and quickness I love to see for their size.

That being said I agree I think it's a crazy deep OG class which is where you guys need help mainly now and there is still tackle talent that will be there in round 2/3 like leatherwood or Eichenberg

Yeah we need guard help badly. Shit I'd be okay with Pitts even. Just a toss up, and is the drop off for WR in round 2 worth taking Chase at #5 is my question.
