WrestlingNews.co is reporting that Kevin Owens' worked shoot promo on Smackdown Live was done because WWE is aware that the Shane McMahon push hasn't gone over well with fans. The Owens promo is reportedly the start of a storyline that will phase Shane out as a regular TV character. The promo was said to have been praised from people backstage.

The site also noted that "the declining ratings have forced Vince McMahon to ask for more input on the product and he’s listening to the criticism more than ever. They have also done surveys to figure out what people do and don’t like about the shows."



That promo was amazing. Why Owens isn't champ yet I have no idea.

Shane needs to go ASAP.

What the fuck did they expect when they have arguably the biggest and most talented roster on the planet and they choose to push the owner's son who is nearly 50 and not a professional wrestler as their top superstar

Lol me and my boy going to extreme rules on sunday, i have tried to get back on track now that heyman and bischoff are running the show

Hopefully you’ll see us on tv we like 10 rows back, buddy made a “he’s baaa-ck” poster for bischoff lol so keep an eye out. Ill prob make a poster proposing to liv or Alexa Bliss, haven’t decided

Extreme Rules is the first PPV in a while that I'm actually looking forward to, hoping that Bischoff and especially Heyman has control here and Vince takes a step back


e; Plus there are a couple of matches that have great potential, Riccochet vs Styles and Aleister Black vs Cesaro both have MOTY potential

Damn i didnt even know about either of those 2 matches, that one for the us belt im assuming?

Never saw taker live so hopefully he kicks the shit out if shane get His departure storyline started early. Hoping the braun/lashley match is a banger i think it will be

Pretty solid match until the very last spot for Undertaker lol. Couldn't get Shane up for the tombstone cleanly on the first try, not sure whose fault it was though.

Decent match for what it was. Perfect elbow by Shane to the outside lol.
