What is crafting and how does it work?
Crafted items are similar to rare items, but cannot be Gambled, dropped by Monsters or found in Chests. They can only be created with The Horadric Cube. Crafted Items are a form of Gambling for high level players or "hardcore" players. These serious players can have the ingredients and time to create a good Crafted Item. Crafted Items have the potential to be better than Rare Items and possibly certain Set or Unique Items.

What is the ideal amount of Magic find to have?
There is no certain amount. The higher the magic find, the more frequent items drop. Remember when using high amounts of magic find not to sacrafice your defense/offense. Find a respectful amount with a ratio of good, protecting gear that will kill monsters fast as well.

What is diablo II classic? Where do I post discussions if I play classic already?
DiabloII classic is the game without the use of the Lord of Destruction (LOD) expansion. Post in Here for discussions or to find classic character guides.

What is LLD or MLD?
LLD is any level from 9 to 30, and MLD is any level from 31 to 49. However, common LLD levels are 9, 12, 15, 18, 29 (Euro) and 30. Common MLD levels are 35, 39, 42, and 49. Find more info Here.

I would like to do some chaos or Baal runs. Where would I go to find them?

What is the difference between Diablo II Ladder and Diablo II Non Ladder?
Ladder and Non ladder characters can not join and play in the same battle.net games. The are entirely separated from eachother.
Ladder is a special mode where all participating characters are ranked based on their experience. Ladder is the default setting when creating a new character on battle.net. A Ladder season runs for limited time and all participating characters are transfered to Non Ladder when Blizzard ends the season. To participate in the next Ladder season you must create a new Ladder character. There are special unique items that only can be found when playing Ladder and there are special runewords that only can be assembled when playing Ladder. Any such items aquired during the Ladder season will remain on your character when it is transfered to Non Ladder.
Non Ladder, on the other hand, runs on forever without rankings or change of seasons. To create a Non Ladder character you simply uncheck the "Ladder" checkbox at the bottom of the character creation screen.
