Remove Stone, Duchene, and Dzingel from this lineup and we are FUCKED. We're already fucking bad, but on the upside at least we can score, but if you take out those 3 then you can kiss goodbye to our scoring and are setting us back another 5 years

i dont know why, but even with them gone. I see ottawa being more of a team than edmonton. lol

Every game we win, it's always Stone, Duchene, and Dzingel are scoring the reasons

Duchene will be traded. The trade to get him is officially a huge bust, if we would have been able to sign him it would have been a win.

Apparently we increased the offers for both players, and tbh 8x8 for Duchene was our first offer, if we went much higher than that I'm not sure it would be a smart deal for us anyway.

Losing Stone is what will really hurt

If duchene signed it would go against everything he demanded to get out of Colorado. "To play playoff hockey." If he's getting offered that already he's probably content with the money he will get elsewhere. Your owner boned the whole team when he said in 3 years he will start to spend money and make the playoffs lol.

Our owner fucked up many times prior to making his plans public, and nobody has any faith that he will actually keep his word and actually spend when the time comes.

The only positive we got going for us now is a decent pool of prospects at goalie and forward, and trading Stone/Duchene/Dzingel will add a little more to it. We are going to need to pickup salary when we trade Stone/Duchene just to meet the cap floor, so perhaps we take some bad contracts to increase the return.

well the avs either getting a guy similar to patrick kane or a guy similar to barkov
in hughes and kakko
which will help make their top 6 stacked

and ottawa will probably get a decent prospect, a late 1st round pick and maybe a 2nd round pick or a young ''Average'' player

everyone said sakic was asking for way too much for duchesne and only pierre dorion paid for it and he must regrets it

I still think the trade for Duchene was not that bad. We overpaid a little but not by much. We got a 27 years old top line center and those are rarely on the market so we had to pay the premium price.

Had we kept Karlsson and Hoffman, which was obviously not a possibilities for a bunch of reasons, the pick we're sending to Colorado is probably around the 10-20 range and Duchene might have re signed with us would make the trade look a lot better for the Sens.
