I would definitely do a Stone for Laine swap given that Stone is a soon to be UFA that doesn't want to play here anymore. Not like Cheveldayoff will ever offer that though, I would guess that Laine value is insanely high even though he's been struggling this season. He's coming off a 44 goals 70 points season at the age of 19 after all.

But yeah you're right, this season he's been very bad. The only thing he brings is his shot. He looks weak and has trouble handling the puck. As soon as you put pressure on him he'll lose it and create a turnover. But the thing is, it wasn't this way the previous years.. Before he would create chances on his own but for some reason he's looked horrible this year. If I was a betting man I'd bet on him rebounding though, the kid has too much talent not to. Even in a down year he's got 25 goals and 37 points in 60 games, not too shabby.
