Actually a very valid question right there m8 (which I completely forgot to mention)
I tested a 45%dr build, which was entended for bowas only (since all other physical damage chars have the range disadvantage anyway)
However I endend up losing to much life, damage and -res for it to improve my chances in those duels.

And yes I used to have a es setup for hammers/boners but found out how much it sucked since whenever i got hit a few times my mana stayed down due low manaregen.
This way i nearly dead after 3bonespirits but still dangerous, where in the other setup i would be at almost full hp after 3spirits, but out of mana and no danger at all.

And yes Lee I use maxblock
Jesk got it right (Im gonna do a quick remake with dualwilding sojs for maxblock aswell. Hence the reason I didnt mention it in the stats)

okay.. because I was planing to use a 45 % dr vs bowy with with my vita blizz, but if you say it's not worth it..

would shaft really be such a bad choice? you would loose 40 life and 20/-20 cold but gain 30 dr. if you can get 63 fcr somehow without belt, string would be cool also.

Not sure how it works for blizzers, but for me personally (compared to what items I chose for the other builds) I had to sacrifice my life armor, life amulet and my life circlet which had me going on like 800hp instead of 1000hp.
On top of that I lost about -25res. In the end I didnt feel a remarkable diffrence, so I chose to remake without the extra strength (for a higher manapool in all other setups).

well personally I planed to trade viper + 10 fcr belt + soj vs shaft + string + 10 fcr / 120 mana ring

I think that without % dr, I won't stand a chance vs bowy.

Like I said I have no clue about blizzers
But for me personally I found that the right strategy and lucky blocks is the way to go.
If your unlucky not to block the first 2arrows and they crit, you will die (with or without %dr)
