This gets stickied at your sig now? :o

Great guide, as usual ^_^ I hope, the information is right, cause noone will take the time to check it  :)

Probably not, and since I am not infallible, I did run the calculations more than once.

The affix tables @ inDiablo are literally based on data from the game files, so I did not bother comparing the two.

Regardless, if something looks suspicious, just drop me a PM.

Ok a lil confusing the first run through

so basically I need to use at leasst lvl 93 character (clvl = 93), to gamble my ammies and craft to get the best chance of making a sweet +2/5-20fcr/ str/dex/life/res ammy?

the affix thing is somewhat confusing to me, maybe its just too early in the morning for me

but otherwise AWESOME GUIDE, sticky imo

I did not write the guide in just 30 minutes either. It might require time and patience to grasp everything.

Yes, level 93 is sufficient for Amulets.

I KNEW I'd forget something  ^_^

Nothing major, but still ... in the section, Required Level (rlvl), the rlvl formula should read

Code
rlvl = max{levelreq_base, levelreq_affix} + 10 + 3*N;  capped at 98

where levelreq_base is the levelreq of the base item (e.g. a Mesh Belt in the Blood Belt recipe has levelreq_base = 25) and levelreq_affix is the highest levelreq amongst the random affixes that spawned on the craft. This is to include the possibility of levelreq_base > levelreq_affix. Usually, this is nothing to worry about; just don't get too excited if the rlvl is occasionally determined by levelreq_base.

Values of levelreq_base can be found on the same pages of the Arreat Summit as Quality Level (qlvl).

The maximum rlvl values listed in each section of the Handbook remain unchanged.

Very nicely done. I sell lots of different craft packs all the time and have tried making my own guide but this is much better than what I have.
Usually people ignore the "complicated" aspects of gambling so I separated the easy to understand stuff (what you need, how to, etc)
from the more technical aspects of gambling. The calculations that take part in crafting are obviously important, but I really think very few people get into the numerical calculations of crafting. Then again it is your guide. :P
As it is I would say it should be stickied.
