well in your simplified frame of mind without 95 it's actually 300str, but ya I'm saying 100ee and 100str would be the same as 295str and 0ee

wrong again =)

you said they multiply

100 EE = double dmg or aka x2
100 strength = double dmg or aka x2

you said they multiply

so base X both of these factors in your mind would amp by 4x

which is 300 EE or 300 strength not 195 or as you say
not going to go into why people think its .95 and not 1 but thats a whole nother math lecture

edit* aka and this is exactly why it doesnt multiply as u say*

Sorry you're wrong. sad.gif

400 ee would "amp" 5x.

And the equation jbpellerin gave is correct.

ok even if you ignore my multiplier method, 300STR is still 4* damage so it's still 300 not 400
so either way you're wrong about this
and I'm gong to grab some concrete examples from the game and edit this post in a sec
lrn2math

and I see your edit but I still stated 295 not 195 so I'm right

with 5 int

Mystical ice XI
Level Req: 40
Spell Damage: 114 to 137
Mana Cost: 105

+109% Enhanced Effect
+73 Max Life
+1 to 2 Mana per Attack

with 80 int

Mystical ice XI
Level Req: 40
Spell Damage: 201 to 241
Mana Cost: 105

+109% Enhanced Effect
+73 Max Life
+1 to 2 Mana per Attack

my formula: (.95 + int/100)(1+EE/100)(tier)(base)
case 1: (.95+.05)(1+1.09)(11)(5-6) = 114.95 - 137.94
case 2: (.95+.80)(1+1.09)(11)(5-6) = 201.1625 - 241.395

your turn

Good work, but such a complicated way to look at such an easy problem

I mean you have like 3 different equations and 6 different variables wacko.gif

All you really need to do is figure out what gives you the highest modifier by using this formula:

(.95 + int/100)(1 + ee/100)(1 + hm/100)

Plug in your 2 gear sets and whichever one give you the higher modifier is better happy.gif

If your going to factor in charm tiers things get a little nasty becuase charms don't follow the same pattern as tier 1 = 1 tier 1 and tier 14 = 14x tier 1 (like weapons do)

like comparing a lvl 30 with ee+hm vs a lvl 35 with ee + int

But basically it would be best to actually calculate your actual heals then by multiplying the charm base by your modifier, and ofc acc slot = x .75
