Update:
The "Skitty's Glyph Proficiency Experience Chart" has been renamed and revamped.
It is now the "Glyphing Viability Chart". This should be quite handy in figuring out what items you should be Glyphing at your proficiency, as well as when you can expect to begin to successfully glyph certain items.

Remember, the percentages are just estimates and are in no way set in stone. Just refer to the color codes as a guideline more than anything.
This chart should be accurate, in terms of what you can/should Glyph (Green) as well as when they no longer give experience (Black).
The information thus far is based on consistencies in the patterns from previous Glyphing Proficiencies.
That's not to say it's 100% accurate though, as there could be some unknown jump in difficulty later on.

One question though. You mention "Prime" items. Yet don't exactly say what they are. Would this be the Green text in your chart?

A suggestion too, it would be nice to see on the guide, what items people like to glyph. I have no idea. The only reason I am even looking at this guide, is because I saw a thread where people were talking about an item being a good glyphing item.

Ahh yes, the "Prime" items was something I had originally thought up but never did explain. It's basically the items that are ideal to Glyph (Green ones). If I could go back and edit it out, I would, but sadly I cannot.

As to what items people like to Glyph, it should be common sense really -- Most common would probably be +Int, +Str or +Dex, along with high MPK and LPK for earlier levels. Of course there are other stats that help -- though it really depends on what the market demands.
