^^ This is so much faster & takes care of the phys immune problem

Cold damage from reaper/forty very rarely causes the corpse to shatter. Also a couple of 35+ gf/15@ res gcs are not expensive & always handy imo.
Takes me approx 45-60 secs to travi in hell with 600>1.3m per run. Using a mix of warcry, battlecry & leap

Nice guide although you should try a leap gf barb for yourself and compare.
Secondly i prefer using a EBOTD Warpike as a merc weapon it gives him stats to wear better gear
as well as life leech and alot of dmg.

Care to explain? I'm making a gold barb myself right now and I don't see how warcry is better than leap considering it has no synergies, smaller range, similar effect and costs more. :S

stun from warcry actually lasts a while when it hits. helpful when your merc is initially surrounded by hoards. I use both, but warcry is more useful, leap is just kinda something to do...

Can't do it. I do EXACTLY what the guide says. I have the EXACT gear the guide says. Just not enough dmg, my merc takes way too long to kill them and thus run out of pots trying to keep them all stunned. Then they rape my merc in a matter of two seconds. NM is a joke, but hell can't be done with the gear and strategy shown here.

I think this is probably the most effecient build posted here. Leap imo is just as good, but not better. I have 2x questions though.

#1. I'm working on a more "pro-active" Goldfind Barbarian. He will be a Whirlwind Barb. Do you think Stormshield is necessary?

#2. Does the amount of gold that is dropped increase with the number of players? Or is it the same no matter what?

make sure yo do it in 1 player games.
I could do it with my merc using tomb/wealth/cot, you can do it too.
There's no way council can kill your merc in 2 seconds when he has 10+ll/max res...
maybe with amp+conv at once, but then you just leap them so he picks them up one by one
