You usually don't pick up items and sell them. When you find something you want to ID like a coronet or rare ammy or whatever, it goes back to my post talking about your potion belt. usually you carry a row of TP scrolls, row of mana pots, row of hp pots or however you want but atleast 1 row of tp scrolls. Use cain to ID or carry a row of ID scrolls. But yes you do take the time to put the stuff in the stash, go back, ID them keep/sell whatever. Good idea is to make one trip to stash to put items in, one to trav and wait till next game to sell/put items back in stash.
