Note to Add into updated version of guide (however I work it in): Wells are NOT mobs. Just because the well level is your level plus one now does NOT mean it should be the same difficulty as mobs one level higher than you. The damage may perhaps be comparable assuming you don't attempt to well a weapon or charm, but wells appear to have a life multiplier, so even if the well does little damage, it's going to have very high life. This means that especially at high levels 55+, you need to pack enough punch to kill that bastard before it's able to get off two or three crits to kill you instead.
