I don't play this enough to actually grind super hard but I know the basics but here's my thoughts for an economical approach cause no offense some of you guys smoke junk with your pricing.

Start with fighter and go EE scale + EE longsword + STR Charms
I can use this setup all through paladin. Never passed to monk anyways so maybe better? I can grab some EE heals for paladin and just keep mid my whole climbs

Ee longswords aren’t really available for sale very often

Swords are rare to come by these days too

Also ee scales are way more expensive than ee plates or chains and ee plates/chains can be used up through paladin as well

I thought about using chains too.
Might be the way to go. Or I could just flip back and forth depending on what I can get

I think I can just buy as many EE longswords as I can get and fill the gaps with swords

If you think the prices are too high, feel free to just find all your items. The prices are high because good shit dropping is rare as fuck.

But if you wanna go cheap but available, daggers and clubs. Or daggers and axes. Don't have to be anything really high EE. Just will take longer.

If you're looking for the cheap way and don't plan on playing a ton to advance to high classes then swords and tank heavy armors are the most cost efficient because you get through the first 3 classes.
