Having issues with barbell squats

My arms start to go numb/tingling when i do them.

Not sure what to look into, ive tried reducing weight/arm posistion/a few things. But no matter what i do around 4-6 reps in my arms start tingling/falling asleep.

Low bar or high bar?

Low bar, a lot of people will bring their hands in way too close to their shoulders, which can impinge and cause a lot of discomfort/numbness. I've had issues with tendonitis from low bar hand position.

High bar, are your wrists bending? If they are, the problem could be that you're essentially holding the bar up with bent wrists. Try using wrist wraps and play with your hand position.

Also look up shoulder mobility drills and work on some shoulder mobility, this may help.

what position exactly? is your neck changing positions? which finger distribution? can either be cervical related from pinched nerve vs radial compression vs ulnar compression.

Does your gym have a safety barbell? Might be a quick fix.

You should try doing less drugs before attempting to get healthy

Few things I would think about:

Your grip could be too narrow, putting your triceps in a more stretched position, which could be eased by widening the grip

Issues with shoulder mobility, having poor mobility can make this alot worse

have you tried using the pad until you become accustomed to having that much weight on your back?
