Damage of each crit is 2x.
Clubs/daggers start at around 1% with base stats
Swords/staffs start at around 4% with base stats
Axes start at about 10% and rise the fastest of melee weapons.
Charms start at about 20% and increases with Intel
Can play around with your str/dex and get a value of what I expect your crit chance to be on the Google sheet on the last post of this topic.

In short though, dex increases the crit chance of clubs/swords significantly but not significant enough to outdamage strength.
Strength increases the crit chance of daggers/staffs significantly but not significant enough to outdamage dex.
