thank you very much everyone!
i am using Ozempic. Lets see what happens from now on =D

Unless your diabetic, would caution you against this

Gastroparesis, mal absorption have significant impact on non diabetic patients who take this

And once you stop, the weight will come back

how did you get ozempic? your GP? or a third party medspa type joint?

i’d discontinue it if i were you, as Bazi mentioned why.

unless you are diabetic or borderline, however your A1C will most likely come back normal range because you are already on a diabetic medication. i’d dc it and do a repeat A1C and check what your levels are.

There’s a chance non diabetic people become insulin resistant bc they are using medications that are not necessarily needed. consider it steroids but steroids for your body’s ability to combat carbohydrates and sugars, once you go off not only will your organs not function normally, you gain more weight than you did before you were on the drug due to the insulin resistance risk. Again they don’t tell you do because big pharma is all a business.

thanks for the info

ive got ozempic through my boss. she knows a clinic that sells the medication. they just do a voice call on phone and ask a few questions then you pay and get the injections at home
i did a GP appointment to check if I was allowed to get ozempic and he said only diabetics or people with a family history of thyroid tumor cannot use ozempic. ive asked him if I could get the ozempic, even though I have hyperthyroidism and he said its ok

Im a little bit worried now lol

Yeah I mean as long as u know the weight loss is off label and it hasn’t been properly studied in non diabetic patients

And if you’re taking it for weight loss, you’re accepting you will
Take the medication indefinitely otherwise statistics say the weight will return

The FDA has recently approved tirzepatide (Mounjaro/Zepbound) for weight loss if you would prefer to switch to that, it also works significantly better for weight loss than Ozempic.
I have read Ozempic is less harsh, however, and will provide results but likely at a slower rate. Depending on how overweight you are, your current physical and mental conditions, the benefits may outweigh potential negatives, imo.
When reaching a healthy BMI or goal weight and deciding to come off of it, just keep in mind you won't have a drug that assists in making you feel satiated, so you will likely have an increase in hunger to be wary of, so it will take more work to maintain your target body weight once you reach it.
