Who is in the more enviable position, Philly or Portland?

In Harden's case, he probably plays but tanks games and sits out for any minor thing. Maybe gains 15 lbs. In Lillard's case, I foresee Portland just sitting him out and waiting for a trade they like.

I think if Harden holds out he will be washed up when he comes back (assuming a long time away from NBA, 6 months or more) whereas with Lillard if he sits out whoever gets him will probably still see a very good version of him...

Well, take both players away from their teams...

One of these teams is still competing for first round home court advantage in the playoffs in the East.

The other is finishing bottom of the West.

But at the same time everyone knows the 76ers ain’t winning a ring.

Would you rather be on the treadmill or have the hope of prospects creating an exciting team? I’d say Portlands rebuild will look pretty nice after the Lillard trade

If we're talking about them being traded, it would only be a matter of who they get in return.

76ers get even a remotely productive player back in return who shows up in the playoffs and they'd be back among the best as usual. If Maxey takes another step as he had done every year, Harden loss won't be felt much especially come playoff time lol

I'm just excited to have a good modern head coach who isn't out of touch rofl. That alone is going to make this team so much better 🙌

Harden should be blacklisted.
Give him the Melo treatment.

you dont sit the superstar

you make him play so that he is forced to show he is good for value

Makes it more interesting, any team can win the 2024 championship!!!! B)

Dm during the process: at least we aren’t a treadmill team and we are building towards a championship

Dm now: at least we aren’t bottoming out and actually competing for a playoff spot

hes an idiot lol
