What are some tactics you use to deal with stress and make sure you stay focused on your goals and not drift away or fall into depression?

For me its running daily, and the necessary discipliine required to do so even on days where I feel like complete shit. It truly clears my head.

But it doesnt have to be running, I think any form of daily excecise can work wonders as even before I picked up running I have been working out for 4 years consistently and it truly saved my life as the necessary discipline to do so even on days I felt the worst was one of the essential parts to overcoming the depression ive fought with for years prior to starting.

However thats just what helped me; I dont think consulting a forum for serious Issues like that should be your go to as mental health issues and the required steps to combat them are usually very specific to the person and circumstances.
