Old topic got outdated and wasnt bumped by op.

Hey, so, people do stream at times.

Imo, people should be able to stream wherever they want,
And audience should not be forced to follow/watch "one dying live stream site".
Alot of smaller streamers who also deserve a little attention to grow moving out of twitch aswell.
Its natural, as some others pays more than twitch.

With all the drama about Twitch, people are actually "moving out".
As long as the Streamer himself following the rules and guidelines, I dont see any issues at all.

For those who think "18+" means pornographic content, you're wrong.
You can find the Exact same content on kick as you find on twitch and other platforms.
Literally no difference, just "more in between" on twitch (For the moment). other platforms Are growing.

kick is growing and alot of bigger streamers moving to kick.
You have:
Hashinshin
GMHikaru
+++ (Im not gonna make a huge lsit of people I have heard of, that otehrs might ahve not).
But just GMHikaru shoiuld be plenty of vouches for the site, that it actually contents "normal streamers".

Bump

Worth mentioning:
Twitch has brought in new ToS and new "pop-up message for mature content".

Basicly the same as I been told "Mature content is not allowed here on jsp"
Kick is Filling up with gamers, 1,950 viewers 9,108 Followers - In the diablo 4 section at the moment!
Really nice growth the past 2 weeks!
Sometimes over 50k if the right people plays the game.

There are only positive things adding multiple streaming platforms.
Noone is being excluded.
Noone is being Forced to stream on platforms they dont like/dont prefer.
Everyone gets a chance to be seen.
Users can also watch directly from jsp to whatever platform they prefer to watch!

New suggestion:
Should people like this be allowed to vote?
Hard no.

:)
People should really be allowed to stream wherever they want, As longa s they follow the rules given on the site they "can advertise".
twitch is already allowed, so why not do all. Or, the few most active and popular ones.

Not true.
People who dont watch gambling, still wont watch gambling.
People who dont watch diablo streams, will not watch diablo streams.
People who want to watch whatever they want, watch whatever they want, regardless of platform, as long as they can watch it.

How is that naive?
What do you watch when you watch things on the internet? (No need to answer this, just to prove my point).
How often do you go out of your box to watch something else? (When current streamer raids someone, does not count).

If your fav streamer switches platform, whats the chance you would watch someone else on that platform, outside the section you are browsing?

You simply watch certain streamers/youtube videos/etc. because you like the content/finds it interesting.
Or am I wrong? Noone forcing you to watch anything you dont like.
And obviously you would not go to gambling section if you dont watch/like gambling. (which state is even worse on twitch with all the Bots promoting gambling). With hundreds of viewbots. And scamlinks :-P

I second this.

Let's stop trying to shelter everyone. People are going to watch what they want.

Voted yes.

Just advertise your stream in your signature/posts, not really needed.
Unless that’s getting pms from mods.

Plenty of ways to advertise your stream to people.
Discord bots announce when you go live, most discord communities are much better than the community here anyways.
