swordzon: once you find the first sword, you are only allowed to use swords as weapons for the rest of the game. will get messy until you score grief! basically blocks java and bow skill tree, so you only have passives (crit, decoy, valkyrie) and single target dmg ofc. requires at least some 'strategical' progressing (not that there are any strategies to be used in Diablo, there are other Blizzard games for that...)

pacifist barb: never did that myself, just read about it in pvm forum. someone did a walkthrough where je only used throwin potions (!) up to blood raven, after that only the merc is allowed to do dmg. no offensive moves from the barb himself, only support like bo/shout and self-buffs like increased speed/resist/iron skin (no warcry though). also no gear on barb (fully naked), merc gets gear ofc. no charms in inventory, only swap gear for merc. i dont remember if a teleport staff/ring/amu was allowed for reposition, i think it was

I'd say roll an enchantress, they're fun as hell imo.
