Cat people smell.

We have both. Some of the dogs like some of the cats and some of the cats like some of the dogs. It’s wierd. They don’t all get along, but there’s none left out either.
Their just like people. Some of them just hate each other for reasons known only to them.

dogs show true affection. they seem to actually care.

cats show affection when they want something. they are also more likely to eat you when you die.

I have grown up with over 20 farm and house cats, they're affectionate even when they don't want something, they just show their affection differently.
It's clearly something that you haven't had the pleasure to realize because you don't spend time and have never gotten close with a feline.
