for me the droprate is to high too. don`t know how it will feel in endgame and if you hvae to grind a lot for decent gear, but for now i think 3-5 legendaries per hour is way too much from my point of view.

Read somewhere that drop rates were increased in the beta to allow players to experience more of the legendary mods or something. Didn’t fact check it though

In most cases they will apply higher % rng for things just to make sure nothing is coming out bugged and so people can see the potential mods items can have.

Are the drop rates for legendaries too high?
They aren't BiS, the aspects are fun and can make/break a build.
You want to spend 50 hours grinding the +1 hydra aspect before you can play that build to decent potential?
There's unique items above legendary items and maybe even Sacred and Ancestral items above that.
I think the aspects are fun and may even guide me down an interesting path to a fun and unique build on my journey to endgame.

the droprate of legendaries seems way too high

does anyone know if they increased it just for the beta? (for testing purposes)

Notice there are 2 different droprates, the ones before lvl 25 where elite packs drops 1-2 blue items then every 3 packs u get 1 rare and once in every 30 or so elites you get a legendary.

Then u got lvl 25 droprate where all the elites usually almost guarantee 2 rare drops and you see one legend every lets say 7 or so packs.

Just guessing but I think they twinked lvl 25 as if it were lvl 50 (or just buffed it hard, anyhow, we will know in 2 months) which makes sense so ppl could actually test things deeply without heavy time investments

way too high. i played one single day in the last weekend and was complety decked out with aspects, which supported my build.
i literally got 1 legendary every 10 min. they might not be BiS but the aspects they carry are BiS. way too easy to get aspects atm.

also: the gambling at the curiosity vendor seemed ridiculous. 1/3 of the items you gambled where legendaries

1. Droprates were increased for the beta. They said that at some point.

2. Legendaries are just rares with an aspect. You guys are all D3-infested.
Uniques are totally different from Legendaries.

yes, it was 100% increased for the beta. some1 mentioned that they saw a developer state it in an interview or something.

also, is this ya'll first beta?

i've done closed testing for games. this is common.
