what does that mean

you just post "# x jah for sale at XXX fg each" and then message whoever says "bin" (buy it NOW!) with the game name and password and realm. They usually show up within 10 min. You both state your jsp name in chat and what your buying/selling at what price. Since youre new youre almost certainly going need to hand over the jahs first and then they send fg to you a second later.

e.g.

-i post "2 jah for sale 175 fg each"
-ronald mcdonald posts "bin 2!!!"
-i pm them saying "game: eat my fries /// password: ketchup, NA, 2x jah for 350 fg"
- they join
- i say "hi mcdonalds here"
- they say "burger king here"
- i say "2 jah for 350 fg"
- they say "yerp bruh"
- i give them the 2 jahs
- they send me the 350 fg
- i go beat my meat

If you are not comfortable “going first” in trades you can also request a mediator, especially if you are trading higher value items (like Jahs) The link below shows how it works.

However, if it's under 100 fg trade, expect to go first (in OP's case). You can't request a mediator for under 100 fg for d2r lmao.

Please be patient, your scam repay mediator will contact you as soon as possible.

To add on, mediators can take a lot of time. Your best bet is to expect to go first but be very selective on who you trade with. If it's a user who trades a lot (recently) and has an account they've maintained for years, they likely value their account here and current level of fg more than whatever value stealing a couple of runes from you would bring. If you're trading with an older account that hasn't posted in years, it might not actually be that person using the account. If it's a brand new account, they may have no loyalty/reputation to maintain, and might be more likely to not value their account.

In any case, using the /whois button when they join the game will help, screenshotting/recording things is a fine idea, and just being smart about who you trade with. I would take 5% less than market from someone I felt I could trust in your situation than 10% more than market from someone who gives me an off vibe.
