I was RN at one point n we started like 30$ an hour but some local places pay around 65$/hr for nightshift/ weekends so they live pretty baller here

I'm fresh out of an apprenticeship myself and making 37 an hour myself, which is pretty good where I'm at, but $20+ to flip burgers is crazy. Not saying they shouldn't get paid that much, but the fact the economy is so busted that they're needed to be paid that much and still can't afford rent on that income is pretty crazy.
