How do you bug mephisto

Do i need to have quest on character i am kiling, and make game with someone who has already completed the quest?

i tried this, this does not work

it is make game with someone who has already completed the quest, and kill on someone who has not.

Someone who has not made the quest, then kill with the other character.

when i try this way, i get gold to drop, when gold drops it is not bugged

kill him with open quest, but cant finish in this game...
