The deal they offered was they give everything back in Kharkiv, and Sumy and get the rest of Donetsk and Luhansk while zap and Kherson are frozen on current line.

Let’s say in 3 years from now they take most if not all of Donetsk, but also capture like 1/3 of dnipro and 1/3 of Kharkiv, maybe more in Sumy. You think they’d be so benevolent to give the latter back? I doubt it.

Sry, ootl: when was this deal in play? And as always, the big question is if there are any reliable guarantees in play so that Ukraine can bank on the peace holding in the long run.

just to be clear - and correct me now if im wrong - Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk addressed an incident today involving an F-16 missile strike. According to reports, a Polish F-16 fighter jet accidentally struck a residential house with a U.S. made AIM-120C missile during an operation to intercept Russian drones that had violated Polish airspace. The missile reportedly failed to home in on its intended target, leading to the unintended damage.

in fairness stuff like this has occured previously, and yes this was the same narrative for those times as well. Its very poor. a better response would have been:

Russia invaded Ukraine, We are trying to support Ukraine as best we can. Russia sent drones, accidentally or otherwise, into our air space as part of an attack on Ukraine and we accidentally hit a house with one of our missiles trying to intercept them. No cause for alarm, no one killed and we will ask for calm, the Russian drones were NOT trying to kill anyone in Poland, they were aimed at Ukraine, some entered our airspace, and no they did not harm anyone in Poland. It was an incursion/accident, not an act of war.



We really are in the Twilight Zone, how Donald Trump thinks an economic attack on India would not provoke a response or realignment is beyond me. well here we are.

Two-year-old girl from Russia has been added to the Ukrainian "Myrotvorets" (Peacemaker) database

According to data from the online resource, a two-year-old Russian girl has been added to the Ukrainian "Myrotvorets" (Peacekeeper) database.

The website states that Emilia, born in January 2023, "consciously violated the state border of Ukraine." The girl was added to the database on September 16.

The "Myrotvorets" website is an open Ukrainian online database containing personal data of individuals who, according to its compilers, are involved in "crimes against the foundations of Ukraine’s national security."

Earlier in September, a six-year-old Russian girl, a three-year-old child, as well as children aged five, nine, ten, twelve, and sixteen were also added to the database. The reason for each child’s inclusion was an accusation of "consciously violating the state border" and "encroaching on the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine."
