Any Topic's about the Russia / Ukraine issue ?

In summary ~ the EU wants Ukraine as a trade partner and Ally
Russia sees this as a Red line similar to the US-Cuban Missile Crisis
In this instance however the EU and US are not backing down
Therefore invasion by Russia into Ukraine is inevitable
i.e. A perfect example of US-EU politicians complete failure at diplomacy
The only winner here is China which appears to be the only super power with a credible long term plan

That's all, American propaganda, there is no invasion and there won't be.

American propaganda ? ehmm I am not taking sides here but from a political and cultural standpoint Russia has no alternative but to invade, they have repeatedly told the EU and US that this is a red line.
also i dont follow American media so i have no idea what propaganda they are throwing out. the EU and US have stretched too far on this issue (in my opinion) are not playing the long game and have clearly sleepwalked into this mess on their own.
if America says go ahead and invade then basically it means that Russia will invade and America will not send troops, i.e. crisis "averted", except for those in Ukraine.

My advice to you is to stop watching TV...

I read the news, and feel free to revisit this topic in a few weeks time (after either Russia has invaded or the Eu agrees not to make Ukraine a trade partner or military ally (unlikely)).

Bolded for sure but this has been going on for a long time.

The cold war ended when the Soviet Union pulled out of East Germany in 1989 but the other allies didn't pull out and stayed. This was a sore spot for the Soviets who bore the brunt of the Nazi invasion and contributed most to their downfall. Worse yet NATO decided to expand to the East. There have been several waves of NATO expansion while Russia voiced their concerns which was completely ignored by the West. The West has acted like victors of the cold war and didn't stop there but kept pressing Russia instead of seeing Russia like a vast country with tons of natural resources and a valuable trade partner.

Also lets not forget the Russians have developed some insane weapon systems, they're fully capable of defending themselves and of course they got thousand of nukes which is why the West's stance towards Russia has not only been a failure but is also reckless. This is not a country we can bomb into submission like Iraq or Afghanistan without getting served some of our own medicine.

"Russia" does not want does not want to let Ukraine to appears as a successful integration into the west block and Putin who is aging and losing power is doing shit all around to justify his presence.
There's no problem in any propaganda since Russia is definitely the agressor in this story. US and even UK are increasing tension to establish that ALL THIS is the entire fault of Russia.
