I dont see fatigue either in Europe or Israel though. Europe is building up its weapons for something and Israel continues doing its thing.
in both regards we are on a runaway train and no one - Europe, Israel, the US, Russia, knows when or where it is going to stop.
I sense a significant war fatigue in Israel's wider civil society, even if the politicians in charge have no intention of stopping anytime soon. And there obviously, evidently is fatigue with Israel among its Western partners.
Europe wants to appear strong to discourage any future concessions to Russia but reality is they want the war to end. There's a fair amount of neocons in power there that have no problem continuing to funnel tens of billions to Ukraine indefinitely per year but i think in general most Euro politicians want the war to end, especially now that Trump pulled back military spend and basically told Europe you are footing this bill.
This. I would add that a lot of European business leaders are also growing anxious with the ongoing economic slump. As are the fiscal politicians who project our financial breathing room 10 or 20 years into the future, when we have an even higher share of old people to take care of.
Aside from the arms manufacturers, pretty much everyone agrees that we could really spend these billions on more productive things.
