/e with respect to Russia, the fact that US can park nuclear subs on their doorstep and they do nothing is a sign of weakness. If they had the capacity to deter, they would deter. Russia is missing an opportunity right now to submit to the new US regime - what's the alternative for them? Russia isn't able to do the same on the US coast because they would be destroyed.
