1,700 U.S. (NASA + DoD + NRO) vs. ~3,500 Soviet+Russian launches to date.
17 dead (including Columbia/challenger disasters) vs 4 dead cosmonauts for USSR (none for Russia so far)?
Space shuttle was a giant waste of money and was scrapped in favor of conventional rockets. Russian “analogue” was abandoned as Soviet Union broke down and it was no longer needed.
If tomahawks start raining on St Petersburg - MAD doctrine will trigger and you will stop shitposting on d2jsp once and for all. Demonstration of Oreshnik was proof enough for DoD they can’t intercept new generation hypersonic MIRVs and need to develop a countermeasure.
MAD doctrine for strategic specific targeting of military targets? Would be an Interesting take by vlad. He loses a few buildings, so he goes full nuke?
Not going to happen.
Oreshnik is nothing more than a medium range weapon. It would never reach the usa. Duh"
