I do believe that Zelensky was and still is at huge risk.
In Feb/Marcu 2022 we didnt know whether Kyiv will fall or not. We still dont know how will the war end, we know that Russia has more people than Ukraine.
this alone proves that Zelensky is courageus.
Russia expected Ukraine to fall in like 3 days, but due to people like Zelensky they failed that. They hate him for sure.
Also note that as a Russian resident you are the victim of Russian propaganda. Russia says bad things about Zelensky, you repeat their words here.

One of us is definitely spreading propaganda by denying the obvious. What about the reports of assassination attempts on Zelenskyy that only appeared after the negotiations in Turkey in 2022? No photos or videos for the same reasons. Zelenskyy is like the Uncatchable Joe—uncatchable only because nobody gives a damn about him. This is the same man who promised Ukrainians barbecues for the May holidays shortly before the invasion, the same drug addict who could barely move his lips at the start of the war. Remember those videos? Draft-dodger Zelenskyy has nothing to do with the heroic resistance, unlike Zaluzhnyi.

I'm not asking you to provide Russian videos. Are there any photos and videos from Ukrainian side proving there was an actual assasination attempt?
Those who lay out swastikas with the bodies of invaders must have videos of defeated Kadyrovites and Wagnerites in the president's office, right?

Someone here asked how the negotiations are going. Probably not well. Zelensky seems to have started believing himself that he’s the reincarnation- if not of Stalin, then at least of Churchill. And it’s quite possible his own people will remove him. And then, there will be videos and photos. And every assassin will be found with an icon personally signed by Patriarch Kirill, Prigozhin, Kadyrov, Putin, and Trump; each will have a passport in their pocket- including an international one- and a valid CPSU membership card.

The most plausible scenario within the next 5 months is the assassination of zelensky. the fact he has not been assassinated up to this point, highlights that he was useful to the US up to this point. Up to this point.

in fairness, it was the most charismatic moment, a moment of defiance, and i found it utterly astounding. whatever whether you like the guy or not, it was a pretty amazing image.

When I discuss here with Russians it reminds me about a one polish politician, marginal one who has like 1% public support.
The said politician, who is also a single politician friendly to Russia in Poland btw, says that there is no proof that Hitler knew about holocaust. That nazists possibly killed jews without Hitler being aware of it.
I mean: in the end you can deny everything, say that everything was faked and there is no credible evidence of anything xd

I kind of understand Zelensky, that the only option for Ukraine prevail is to keep fighting until permanent peace is negotiated.
Peace with some security guarantees for Ukraine.
Because what happens if we negotiate temporary peace?
Not much changes for Russia, they will be still rebuilding their army after Ukraine halved Russian army, but a lot changes for Ukraine:
- Ukraine wouldnt rebuild because who would invest their money on a country that is due to a new round of war in a couple years? Because there will be no rebuild, the people wont be happy and there might be a political crisis
- Conscripts run away when Ukraine opens its borders
- International financial support decays because there is no active war, Ukraine needs to reduce its army because it cant afford large army any longer

Do you guys see why Ukraine is reluctant to negotiate cease fire?
It would have been easier if Trump offered some guarantees for Ukraine
