I want to bring ^Ironfister back into the fray and ask if this is a good deal, considering Russian/Ukrainian lives were worth about 30,000 Euros each.
10 Patriot Batteries along with Missiles that don't exist to supply them, in exchange for such a small amount of lives possibly saved, or lost, you know when you shoot down a missile it lands somewhere.
https://i.imgur.com/f7qfNQO.png30k Euro? My "manday" of work costs 300euro. So a life is only 100 "mandays" of work? Even if I earn above average in eastern Europe, I think its more like 1mln euro instead.
I know that theoretically all life is priceless, but we know its not really endless money, because government doesnt have unlimited money.
I understand that president of Ukraine
have to ask about more patriots, because people are dying, on the other hand I understand why countries are reluctant to give theirs. Because we know there is no replacement for patriots, its produced only in USA and only in very limited numbers.
For example we Poles have only 2 patriot systems, and share the border with Russia which makes us next target. And while we give a lot of ammunition to assist Ukraine, we cannot give them ALL as we need to be ready for the Russia attack, if Ukraine people decide to surrender to Russia.
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
