Russia is 100% black. But other countries - its shade of grey: 10-20% black, 80-90% white.
I cannot say my country is snow white, as there are different people.
Many are lazy, many people would like to be rich without working hard, many are egoistic. These are the voters, so the country politicians need to listen to them to get elected.
For Ukraine there is also a second factor:
When you are at war, and your opponent respect no rules, you cant play 100% fair and complaint with all "human rights guidelines".
Because you would be at huge disadvantage.
If an intruder comes to hurt you, you are fully morally entitled to self defence, even if that means hurting the attacker.

Were all trying to move on with our lives, but you want our governments to move heaven and earth to defeat Russia in what is more or less a domestic conflict.
You don't believe the eastern half of Ukraine has political jurisdiction for self determination to begin with.
"move on with our lives" - thats exactly what Putin wants us to do. He wants to take countries one by one, so he will be saying: "I only want country X, nothing more, others please move on with your lives". "I only want Ukraine because were were USSR", "I only want baltics because we were USSR", "I only want Poland because I want to rebuild Warsaw Pact", "I only want Germany because Germany was ours for 50 years after the WW2", "I only want France because you remember that bastard Napoleon who tried to attack Moscow" - see how it goes? Excuses are already here. And Putin isnt stupid, he knows all of them also.
I dont really care too much about Ukraine, because this is not my country, but its a fact that they are only European country on a way from Russia to Germany who actually has a big army, a big military, and society that is actually hard and stubborn enough to say to Putin "fuck you Putin, you will not come here", instead of surrendering and "trying to move on with your living".
Because I dont believe that Poles or Germans or whoever else is capable of doing that. We are too soft in the west, too spoiled by our luxurious lives, we are good at making money but not at war, and also not united unfortunately. So imo the best chance to stop Putin is now, in Ukraine. If we waste it - shame on us and we fucking deserve to be conquered and enslaved as Europe.
Its not a domestic conflict because Ukraine was free for 30 years already, this is a full generation of people who spent all of the lives in a free country, and now Putin expects them to be his slaves.
Its possible there were some people close to Russia border, that would like Ukraine to join Russia instead of EU. Because for them Russia was closer, and EU was more far away. They also watched Russia TV. But its not much, and now since the war started it all totally faded.
Yet you incessantly state how evil Russia is because of your own countries past exercising its own political rights to become an independent communist country.
We've hashed over how your country did everything possible since it was re-founded after ww1, to have communist governance.
Explain the butthurt belter mindset in Poland.
We discussed this several times but you didnt read anything. We didnt ask Russian communists to attack us. We wanted them to leave Poland after Russians defeated Hitler but they didnt listen. They murdered our politicians, our army officers, elites.
Poles had a choice to make our own communist government under Russian supervision and military occupation, or become part of USSR and be managed directly by Russians politicians. We decided the first, and it was good decision imo, because we have way less Russians in Poland than baltics/Ukraine had after USSR split.
