They're all in on trying to find a resolution.

By just about any measure, this *should* turn out to be a massive win for the USA and Trump.

-Russia's military might is shown to be feeble. Even though Putin is winning against Ukraine, it was his to lose, and the costs have been staggering compared to the modest territorial gains, it will take Russia a generation, if ever, to recover enough for another war
-USA gets massive mineral deals to pay us back for our support, needed to counter trade wars and existing inflation
-Our shit-tier "European Allies" are shown to be warmongering, out of touch, and utterly dependent on the USA for defense, allowing Trump to properly rein them in
-and more. With Russia and Ukraine at peace, Russia, the world's biggest untapped resource dump, could be re-integrated into the world economy, eventually

There is no easy resolution, thats the problem. without US support the EU has very few good cards.
