If I want to conclude that all politicians lie (and therefore imply that it's okay that Trump and Putin lie every chance given) I just can't use my own expactations that everybody lies as reasoning, that's not how logic works.
I can find a lot of straight up verifiable lies by Trump and Putin - if you can't do that easily for Zelensky, their relation to the truth is clearly not the same.
Tldr (not for you personally but for jsp in general): stop spouting russian propaganda, Putin (and his buddy Trump) lie a lot. Look at independent sources, look at data, form your own opinion. if your opinion is based on your facebook feed, fox news shows that they themselves claim are lies or tirads from your racist uncle, put it in the trash.
Unfortunately you don’t have a luxury of living in a world were people don’t lie and you have to somehow include this in your calculations. You may get it right or wrong but if you assume nobody’s lying until proven otherwise you will always arrive at wrong conclusions.
Trying to trivialize my argument by pushing it to the extreme (“everybody’s always lying”) is kinda immature.
The myth of the Russian propaganda in social networks has been overblown. Not saying it doesn’t exist, but it was mostly a talking point for the democrats to discredit whatever opinion they didn’t like and to justify censorship. Which is especially funny after the whole USAID paid propaganda has been revealed recently
Zelensky is also lying, I don’t know which world do you live in if you don’t see this. The Ukrainian rocket that fell in Poland (and he insisted it was a Russian one, in an attempt to create a false flag and escalate war). Their whole country foundational myth is now based on a fake version of Bandera’s history. He doesn’t want to hold elections even though Ukrainian law doesn’t forbid it during the war. He somehow lost track of 100 billion dollars of US money. He wanted the aid to the Ukraine in the form of a loan and now he pretends like it was a gift. I mean… wake up!
