what does the german military industrial complex look like? or are they just purchasing US weapons rather than making them?
the whole thing screams of Iraq circa 2001, bunches of people telling you we need war that all secretly hold MIC stocks.
Probably a mix if i had to guess without knowing too much? These people of course are speaking their book. Even if they don't own the stock, they have friends that would directly benefit from these multi billion investments into war.
The thing though, the threat is a mirage. Those funds can be better used for a huge list of better investments. Germany and other western/northern Europe are likely to face way more threats from internally as they've imported millions of Muslims.
People to this day still don't understand that Ukraine was different from Russia POV and was a no go. That doesn't mean they are eager to send tanks into Poland or Germany. Their econ wouldn't be able to take a war of that magnitude, unless they go full agro with nukes.
