Was a great book with wonderful insights, few anecdotes and interesting viewpoints. A really easy read.
Reminded me of the John M and Jeffrey Sachs video from September. The basic point in the end (besides war/struggle for power being an ongoing progression/battle since the dawn of time), life is most important!

I recommend the book to all.

As to how things will turn out... If you still believe that it'll turn out any other way, you're delusional. The US will not back a World War on behalf of Ukraine. "The Big Guy" is no longer in Office. Trump seeks to execute the will of the American People, which is NOT global warfare. How things SHOULD turn out? A nation (Ukraine) had a revolution. The eastern portion of the nation did not participate, and declared independence. The winners of the violent revolution then conducted an 8 year campaign of terror, murder, and ethnic cleansing against those newly formed Republics. The Republics formally requested Russian aid. Russia provided it. When it became clear that the braindead idiot in the Whitehouse at the time was planning on deploying troops into the Republics, the Republics requested and were granted annexation (protectorate status) by the Russian Federation, making any direct attack by the US or NATO against the Republics an Act of War against Russia.

That's the story. Zelenski is attempting to hold independent nations by force, and has lost. They have no bargaining chips. They have nothing to offer Russia. Now, why would it have been better for Zelenski to have simply acknowledged the Republics in January 2022, withdrawn Asov, and avoided the whole mess? Because all that he has accomplished is the death of untold numbers of Ukrainians for absolutely no gain. And while he still wouldn't have Crimea or the Donbas Republics, he WOULD still have Chernobyl, as well as the seized (and never gonna be returned) bioweapons facilities.

You also missed where China, Iran, Russia, and North Korea are all now buddy buddy in a military alliance, not merely economic alliance.

You also missed how you've just described nations with several hundred million people as shit states, and nearly 2 BILLION people once you include their ally China, when realistically if BRICS banded together and embargoed the EU, the EU would crumble in less than a year.

Russia has proven they don't need the EU, or the US, at all. Nor do they need our currencies. As has NK. As has Iran. As has China.

The US is weaker militarily than it has been any time since WWII. Europe is FAR weaker militarily than any time since WWII. The "DO WAR AGAINST PUTIN!" stance that you seek to adopt is a disaster waiting to happen. And you're too stupid to see it.
