Drummond is Embiid's backup. Without him they have Bona and Pete Nance playing meaningful minutes and neither of those guys have NBA experience. Drummond brings elite rebounding, something they need.

Yabusele plays a lot of 5 and he has been incredible but he's better fit at the 4 on a healthy roster.

Although, with that said...these young guys are ballin. Council, Edwards, Bona. All filling in nicely and playing with a lot of refreshing energy.

76ers have traded Caleb Martin to the Mavericks for Quentin Grimes and a 2025 2nd round pick.

So uh

Get a better/younger player in return. Also gets the 76ers below the first apron which in turns means they have less restrictions on the buyout market and salary matching in trades.

Assumption here is they've seen enough and been impressed with Yabusele and Council and wanted another guard. Grimes is a FA in the offseason though.

Now we don't have to play Reggie Jackson rofl. Maxey/Oubre starting with Grimes/Lowry off the bench.
