Chemical engineer. I have background in biology and as a pharmacy technician as well.

The main hormone involved is IGF that the body makes in response to protein. It accelerates a chemical pathway called mTOR.

In excesses of protein the body tells its cells to divide more quickly which can lead to accelerated aging and its associated health problems, including cancer. It makes your body less able to repair itself and clear out toxins.

Still lying about your qualifications I see

@ bolded Got a shred of evidence to back this up?

What sort of scientist are you btw?

He got an associates in chemistry from a community college and now claims to be a chemical engineer, statistician, or whatever scientific field he needs to sound credible.

Got any decent studies to show this? Sorry, but I've heard similar conjecture and theoretical nonsense before, and I just don't buy "protein causes cancer" etc.

This one covers just about everything.

Wow, you mean you actually have a bachelors and still know so little about chemistry, thermodynamics, and science in general?

That's some impressive bullshitting my friend.

to be fair, we mostly thought you were lying because of how bad you post on the subject. not really a goalpost move, although i'm surprised you have an actual diploma with out a "TC" at the end of the university.

What was my argument again? Because I see a statement, but not an argument.

I started having a new drink in the morning based off the trend of bulletproof coffee.

I start with yerba mate, which is basically a strong coffee-like tea that has a tropical chocolate flavor.

I mix the tea in a blender with coconut oil + erythritol and it keeps me full (not hungry at all) and caffeinated the whole day. And it tastes great.

Definitely. Without glycogen reserved in muscles and your liver you lose your burst energy.

But, you also build up ketone-digesting ketones over time, and the loss of energy gets better over time as a result. Once I cheated on my diet with carbs and ran a half marathon a day later. It was not only easy, it was laughably easy. The austerity my body went through for 2 months gave it burst and endurance strength for the run.

I've also heard that stacking up on electrolytes solves this problem.

I've never heard of exogenous ketones. I'll have to look them up.

JRE watcher confirmed.
