The only comedy here is your failure to understand.

Atheism is simply a lack of belief NOT a belief in something.

Not even science believes in "absolute nothingness", assuming you are trying to refer to the big bang theory.
Science simply makes a theory (one of many) that a quantum vacuum was the starting point. Yet you attempted to put words in its mouth by stating it believes in absolute nothing is disingenuous.

How many bad faith arguments or lies one needs to point out before you finally concede? Or are you just a pathological liar and a religious fanatic for life who refuses to change no matter what?

"lack of belief" is agnostic. 'atheism used to be 'disbelief then they started losing all their arguments and switched to "lack of belief" "lack of belief" "lack of belief" (squawk)
funniest thing i might of ever seen? it was a debate between william lane craig vrs chistopher hitchens. hitchens (thinking it was clever) said "its not disbelief, its lack of belief" to which WLC replied "why dont you just call it smatheism then". lol the look on hitchens face was priceless. all the more so because he was usually really good at not reacting to a "L"

ok then tell us what was here when nothing was here??

so says the person using the "lack of belief " argument

Well looks like you are triggered again by definitions when they don't support your fantasy beliefs.

Atheism is simply a word for someone who has no reason to believe in magic/supernatural. A made up word to label someone for something that hasn't been proven to exist in a first place.
We don't have a word for someone who has lack of belief in Aliens, Santa claus or Peter pan. We don't say antiPeterPantheism or antheSantaClautheism because that would be silly.

Atheism is a silly word that shouldn't exist also yet here we are.

Suppressed? More like a cope for no one believes in your mythology. Its just primitives sitting around the campfire bored shitless exchanging stories trying to one up each other.
Every ancient civilization has their own mythological story vikings came from 2 trees, Egyptians from tears, Chinese were created from yellow mud etc etc.

You just so happen to believe a magic sky wizard Yahweh created man from dust and woman out of a rib in a magic garden with a talking snake. Get real, stop spreading misinformation.

Yes thinking man was made from dust and woman out of a rib is a perfect example of a genetic fallacy.
I am glad you've realized this just now.
Native Indian (Salinan) mythology is a bald eagle created man out of clay a woman out of a feather, and trickster coyote helped them learn. I guess I should take that one seriously aswell?

You are a joke. Go back to your scientology or wherever you came from and stop spreading misinformation in the science subforum.

"atheists" believe in 'evolution. that we are all the product of some kind of evolved monkey. when they try to convince you they smart and your dumb, they are trying to convince you they are the smartest monkey. :)

darwin, possibly had the greatest challenges to his own thoughts. it was the clowns that came after him decided to call 'evolution fact. to just up and decide something isnt science. 'atheists started the process of "CHIT SCIENCE"

Convictions of a Monkey's Mind
Charles Darwin's "horrid doubt" reflects his concern about the reliability of human beliefs, especially if they are seen as the result of random processes like natural selection. This quote suggests that if our minds are products of chance, then we should not trust our thoughts or beliefs. Darwin's skepticism was a precursor to modern discussions about the nature of consciousness and the role of free will in human cognition.

“But then with me the horrid doubt always arises whether the convictions of man's mind, which has been developed from the mind of the lower animals, are of any value or at all trustworthy. Would any one trust in the convictions of a monkey's mind, if there are any convictions in such a mind?
[To William Graham 3 July 1881]”
